  • Merritt should probably update these, maybe I'll ask her to do that soon.
  • She's really independent and strong willed.
  • She loves Zoe so much and it makes us extremely happy.
  • Slumber parties are a regular occurrence.
  • Homework isn't super fun, but she does it and is very smart.
  • She still loves helping - especially when I'm working on the deck or in the garage.
  • She doesn't love eating unless it's about time to leave and she knows she won't get a treat.

  • I love doing things myself.
  • I'm content being alone.

  • I have very strong opinions so don't mess with me!
  • I love my big sister so much and will immediately follow her lead.

  • I'm walking all the time now.
  • I love being tickled. I'll ask for more and crack up big time in anticipation of the tickling.
  • I've got a good sized gap between my two front teeth.
  • I'm happy which makes dad happy.

  • I took my first steps today! I was on the porch with mom and dad and zoe and I took two steps towards dad as he held out some food for me. It was no big deal, but mom and dad sure were happy to see it.

  • I like it when dad comes home.
  • I like food, especially when it's yours or when it's in a container so I can get it myself.
  • I'm super cute.

  • I've been trying to crawl lately. I moan and grunt and rock back and forth, but I've yet to reliably move my hands and knees in unison. I can still roll around and scoot a bit, though, so I'm definitely a danger to anyone who is near me!
  • I'm probably the smiliest baby anyone has ever seen. There's just so much to be happy about in life!
  • I definitely don't vocalize as much as my big sister does. She's a piece of work and I love her so much! She runs around singing and dancing and acting crazy and I love watching her and studying her.
  • I'm not sleeping through the night yet, but there are times when I'll only wake once a night so that's not too terrible. Sorry mommy (and daddy).

  • I've been having trouble sleeping still. Mom and dad took me off the pacifier cold turkey and I hated that. I cried it out for a few days and things seemed a little better. Then I was having trouble with the swaddle so they took me off that cold turkey. They're talking with some behavioral specialist through Kaiser and she has been telling them what to do with me since I'm so particular. Sorry guys!
  • The newest struggle is waking up in the middle of the night. I'm still waking 3 times a night, sometimes more. Last night was bad because of daylight savings time and then there was a power outage that woke me up. Ugh!
  • Hopefully I sleep better tonight because I didn't have a very good day.
  • I'm starting to giggle a little. I'm definitely more pensive and laid back than my big sis.

  • I'm not sleeping well anymore. I'm back to my baby schedule of waking up every 1-2 hours. They call it a 4 month sleep regression and nothing seems to be working so far.

  • I've been sleeping pretty well at night the last couple weeks. I'll have a bad day here or there, but overall my night time sleep is good. I do have trouble getting to sleep, but once I do it's pretty good.
  • I have thrush in my mouth right now which sucks.
  • My big sister is so much fun!
  • I'm a lot more mellow than my sister. As long as I'm well-fed and not tired I do pretty well.

  • Life has been a little rough for me lately. I may have acid reflux which has been causing a lot of pain for me. Cryyyyyy!

  • I look a lot like my big sister, but my hair and eyes are much darker.
  • I love to sleep during the day as long as someone is holding me. I'm about 50/50 at night. Last night I made dad's birthday night an interesting one!
  • My big sister loves me so much, but she wants me to talk already. Is she crazy or what?

  • I'm coming out tomorrow morning! So excited to see mom and dad and big sis.
  • I've been moving and shaking in mom lately so I'm sure she's ready to have me out in the world instead of doing that against her bladder.

  • I was supposed to arrive on 6/24, but it looks like 6/22 is the new scheduled date. I'm smaller than my sister right now, but my big sister was huge!
  • I can't wait to come into the world and complete our family. It's going to be so much fun keeping my parents up until 4am like my big sis did. She told me it was hilarious.

  • I'm at work with mama right now. I'm probably going to love baseball just like my mom and big sister.

  • Mama says I've been moving and shaking quite a bit lately. I like to jump all around and get her attention. It seems to be working so far.
  • I'm about 15" long now. I can't wait until I'm 22" like my big sister was when she was born.

  • I've been pretty quiet lately. My big sister has been plenty loud for the two of us though!

  • Mama says I've been moving around more lately. I'm moving and shaking and making my presence known!
  • Dada keeps saying that he hopes I'm quiet and calm, but that he'll love me no matter what. I haven't decided yet if I'll be wild and crazy like my big sis and mama or more calm like my dada. I'll keep that a secret for now because I'm crafty like that.

  • Hello world. I'm 20 weeks old now which means the doctor has a very good idea that I'm a girl. Dad is super excited about the 3:1 ratio that he'll soon be living with. Ah, poor dad.
  • The doctor says I look very healthy and I'm moving all around which makes it difficult for them to take pictures of me. I'm a mover and shaker like my big sis, but I'm also a bit camera shy like my pops.
